Urela Usher (18 NG - 30 KG) was a major writer and major spokesman for the revolution.  He wrote a pamlet "Santh's Equal People" (Salthan, Santhlerogdoksanai), that was a religious and social argument for the abolishment of monarchy and the establishment of a democratic system. He, along with his fiance Kari Goshutonathes and her younger brother Ulaila. was publicly stripped naked in what was called the The flogging at karathe. 

After the revolution, Urela became a lawyer, and then ran for, as was elected as a senator for the western district. He died of heart disease at the age of 48.
