For a more detailed explination see Calendar System. In the year the senate was established, the salthan system of counting years changed to count twords the creation of the Senate, The year 0 NG (NeGyagisany) "After the Year of the Senate"). Every year afterword counts upword. The year before the senate was put in place is 1 KG (Kalgyagisany "Years Before the Senate") and counts backwards.

The Konie (Caves) Era (7000-6500 KG)

The First records of Salthan  people appear around 7000 KG. Many were nomads, living in tents or caves in the desert regions. They subsisted on hunter-gathering. Later on in this period some also used small-scale farming to supplement food brought in from hunting.

See full article: Divided Kingdom period

As farming and agriculture was invented, more and more Salthans settled into farming in the ariable lands, particularly along the fertile coastal regions. During this region also were the building of two fortified cities divided between the various clans. The two largest were the Kesai, living in karathe and the Lykesanai in Ten Terak.

See full article: Era of Kings

In 5920 after a century and a half of fighting, the people eleccted for themselves a king, Sapa, and unified into one nation, which was then after called Saltha, taking parts of the names of each tribe. Ten Terak became the capital. Up to this point Humans and Salthans have had no contact, and do not even know the other group even exists. The human explorere Henry Bright accidently discovered Saltha and caused the first contact, and for the first time Humans and Salthans discovered they were no the only sancient beings on the planet. Later, the king Lail Gisal (Lail the great) in the middle years of his reign moved the capital to the central city of karathe.

The Great war (12-1 KG)

During the reign of king Kakel In 20 NG a great war erupted between the kingdoms of Trahern against the nations of Braydon and Atpa (also known as Sylvane). In 12 NG, King Kakel joined the Ironstone pact with Trahern, and declared war on Braydon, despite the advice of his advisers. Though they won some small early victories with ambush tactics, As Saltha advanced more over enemy territories they began to suffer catastrophic defeats. At Wyndivile's plane Saltha lost over 100,000 soldiers in the battle, with 5,000 wounded. It was the single greatest loss in history since the unification.

B10 NG riots and an outright revolution began until Kakel was overthrown in 3 NG. Saltha officially withdrew and signed a peace agreement in that same year and the next year put up the senatorial system. The war ended in the defeat of Trahern, and the signing of the peace accord of Wyndavile's plain on October 29th, 3 NG.

Modern Saltha/Sentaorial Period (0 NG to TODAY)

A senetorial system was set up the next year after Kakel was dethroned and the year was even comemorated by marking the years based on when the senate was established, with 0 "Nepala Girtny" (NG, Post Sentatorial). The sentorial system is still in use today.
