Salthans are the lizard-folk people who live in the desert nation of Saltha in the northwest of Scindon.

History

Salthans are believed to have evolved from the reptile species found in the desert. The first recorded instance of Salthans are from around 7000 to 6500 KG.

Physical Description

Salthans are reptilian with proportions similar to that of Humans. They have elongated nose and mouth (sometimes refereed to as "snouts", though this term has lost favor as being derogatory). They have a tail from the base of their spine. Males of the species have a row of vestigial spikes running from the crown to just over the top of the neck. Being non-Maximilian, females do not have mammary glands, and their upper torsos are generally identical to that of male of their species. The average adult Salthan stands at about 5'6", and the average female is around 5'4". Females give live births, and do not lay eggs.
